This season is going well for the Golden West Rustlers women’s volleyball team. With a record of 14-3 overall, and 8-1 in the conference, they trail behind OCC with the second best record.

The green and gold have two straight wins after losing to the Pirates. They Rustlers took all three sets with the scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-12 against the Fullerton Hornets on Friday, Oct. 26.

At the start of every set, the Rustlers and Hornets competed hard for the lead. With great plays by Alicia Utke, Talia DeFalco, Bethanee Boggs, and others, the Rustlers kept their leads safe from the Hornets.

“We have been working hard to improve and I feel like it has shown. Fullerton was a good team so we just had to play hard,” said Taylor Packer.

GWC hopes to continue to play well and will host the Saddleback Gauchos on Friday, Nov. 2 against Saddleback Gauchos at 6 p.m.
