Everyone knows it is tough to be a student in these economic times. That is why it is good to have student perks, like discounted tickets to movies and theme parks to relieve the stress of being a student in this day and age.

Most students do not know that these great deals are available, such as Regal Cinemas tickets for only $7 or $8, AMC for only $6 or $8, and Cinemark and Century go for $6.25 or $7.25.

Not only that, but the deals for tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm can go from only $28 dollars compared to the $53.99.  Disneyland single park day passed are $68 compared to the $72.

These deals are meant to help the average student who deserves to have some fun when having to deal with the economic issues of today.

If you visit the student services desk in front of the game room in the Student Activities building you can see all the other discount options on one of their many fliers.  You can even get discounts at local restaurants like John’s Philly Grille on Edinger and Goldenwest.

As to how you can enjoy these discounts, it is simple:one only has to go to the Student Activities building into the TV room and go upstairs. You can pick up the already-paid-for student sticker that goes on the back of the student I.D.

The $15 student services fee was already included when you paid for your classes at the beginning of the semester. The student  services fee also goes towards funding the tutoring center, the sports teams, club events, and student body meetings.

To purchase the tickets for movies and theme parks pay a visit to the Student Activities Office located upstairs in the Student Activities building. One only needs to present their student sticker and the money and voilà, deserved student discount tickets galore.

The Student Activities Office is open Monday- Thursday 8:15 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Friday 8:15 a.m.- 3 p.m. The phone number is 714-895-8261.
