Well, it’s that time again, to become someone, or something, you’re not.

It’s the time of year when ghosts, goblins, and ghouls resurrect their yearly mischief and morbid mayhem, preying upon the unsuspecting soul.

The Associated Students of Golden West College will be hosting their annual Halloween Spooktacular from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Student Center.

There will be a free nacho bar with fruit punch for students with a valid College Services Sticker, and $1 for those without.

There will be a pumpkin pie – eating contest at noon with the winner receiving two free passes to the movies.

The event culminates in a Halloween Costume Contest open to all Golden West College students.

The first place winner will receive two, all-day passes for Boomers in Fountain Valley with two movie passes going to the second place winner.

So if the spirit so moves you, transform yourself into your favorite character or creature, and slither over to the Student Center for a “Spooktacular’ afternoon.
