What ever happened to being an individual? Rather than finding the look that works for them, people nowadays prefer to follow every new trend and wear it out until the next season of new fads begins. I think it is high time we all stopped dressing for attention and start dressing for impression.
Here are some fads/trends that should be thrown out the door.
• Sandals/flip-flops with socks – sandals are not meant to keep your feet warm, and you just look silly. If you want your feet to be comfy and warm, put on some shoes!
• 3D glasses used as sunglasses – Life is in 3D, no glasses required. Not only are you failing to protect your eyes, you’re failing at trying to look cool.
• Overflowing purses – If there’s so much stuff in your purse that it’s difficult to find a pen, you’re better off just carrying a backpack if you “need” all the stuff you managed to cram in your purse.
• Two-Tone hair color – This half and half look is just that: half decent and half hideous.
• Feather hair extension- Is your hair trying to fly away? At first seeing it on one girl was cool, but now it’s on every girl’s bird-brained head.
• Ugg-like boots with short skirts or shorts – All the Eskimo-wannabes need to make-up their minds and decide whether they’re hot or cold. Whoever started this fad needs to make a Public Service Announcement apologizing for the hideousness that is this non-fashion statement.

I could not agree more with everything listed. It is like I wrote the article myself!
