Kabuki service will ruin your dinner

Walking into Kabuki Japanese Restaurant located in the Bella Terra not too far from school, I was sorely disappointed to find the hostess was not at her station and had to wait to be seated though there was no line..
I politely waited, but I have been there three various times and whether busy or slow the hosts aren’t very attentive.

The atmosphere was cool and contemporary, truly a Japanese feel.

As I was being seated, I was not reassured that the server would be there shortly, and he was not. We waited 20 minutes before he even came to take our order.

Even though the service was not up to par, the atmosphere was cool and the food was good.

The Gold Rush and the Shrimp Tempura rolls were quite delicious. The crunchy taste of the fried, hot, California roll with the eel sauce, the different flavors mixing well to taste divinely, the Gold Rush roll was quite a rush for the taste-buds. The Shrimp Tempura roll  was a complementary delicacy; the fried shrimp was a tasteful addition to the California roll.

Overall, if you have a need for sushi at school and you are low on gas, then Kabuki is your place, but I’m confident there are better restaurants who serve up sushi just was delicious, if not better, that will make your visit more pleasant. Don’t think twice to try somewhere else.
