International Program Welcome Back Reception
The International Program will host a reception for new and returning international students. Information and light refreshments will be provided in Library 208 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Golden West College Swap Meet
The Golden West Street parking lot will be home to a swap meet selling new and used items, antiques, collectibles, fresh produce and flowers. Lotto tickets will be available at the Golden West amphitheater for October spaces. Time: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. No pets allowed.

Chefs for Scholarships
Golden West will host a food and wine event to support student scholarships. Chefs for Scholarships will be at the student center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will include contributions from local restaurants, wine and beer tasting, live music, silent auction, drawings, grab bags and free parking.
There will also be a game wagon, face painting, balloon art and magic for the little ones, as well as transportation for guests with special needs.
Tickets are available for purchase online at www. gwc.info/patrons. Adult tickets are $40, Students $20, and Children 12 and free. Proceeds support scholarships for GWC students. For reservations and additional information please call (714)895-8316.
