With summer just around the corner it’s time to put the books down, get rid of some fashion no-no’s, watch a little more television and head out to concerts.
A good sense of style is always a must and this summer there is no exception. Do not throw away those maxis and mini dresses as they are still fashionable.
Having a beach day or just outdoors for a BBQ? Don’t forget to wear your oversized hat to keep you away from all the UV rays. Bright colors are here to stay from accessories, to blouses, and dresses. Please do toss out those nerdy suspenders, fringed boots and vests, punky tees, and anything that has to do with stars, leave that for the Fourth of July.
Before catching Kristen Stewart as a vampire later this year, she will be playing a princess in the upcoming film “Snow White and the Huntsman” coming out June 1. The much anticipated “The Amazing Spider-Man” will be opening July 3 starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Another big blockbuster to come out this summer is “The Dark Knight Rises” which hits theaters on July 20.
Make sure to keep a look out for Usher’s new album “Looking For Myself” hitting the shelves June 2. Maroon 5 is back with “Overexposed” coming out June 26. Orange County natives, The Offspring, will be releasing their album “Days Gone By” also June 26. Get ready to party rock with LMFAO this summer as they are coming to Los Angeles June 5 at the Staples Center. Also performing there will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers both Aug.11 and 12.
If you feel like staying in, not to worry because just as the semester ends, “Keeping Up With Kardashians” will be returning to E! on May 20. “Pretty Little Liars” will be back for its third season on June 5. If you are missing “Jersey Shore,” Snooki and JWoww will be having their own spin-off show that will be premiering on MTV June 21 at 10 p.m.
