The Golden West Rustlers 2012 baseball team had a good season, with an overall 18-19-1 record.

The team hopes to have better luck next year leading into the playoffs. They ended the season with losing eight straight.

The Rustlers open the season on Friday, Feb. 1 against Palomar at 2 p.m. In the Orange Empire conference Golden West’s record was 9-12. Green and gold’s record on the road was 8-10, and 9-8-1 at home.

Head coach Bert Villarreal will be coming back with some of the following returners, Steve Pascual, Jason Aden, Sean Whiteman, Daniel DeWolf, Mitch Huffman, and Gabriel Romero, Kyle Jones, Charles Cantrell, Angel Ramos, Bobby Webb, Lucas Kaplan, Micheal Gregory, and others.

Some of the returners that we have to look out for include the names of Bobby Webb, Kyle Jones, Daniel DeWolf as well as some the fresh new faces.
